1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, initiating, completing, or submitting the Rayshield Warranty Registration Form, whether through electronic, manual, digital, or any alternative medium, the individual or entity identified as the “Owner” hereby expressly acknowledges, affirms, declares, and irrevocably agrees that they have read, comprehensively understood, evaluated, and accepted, in full and without modification, reservation, exception, or limitation, every statement, clause, sub-clause, policy, definition, responsibility, exclusion, obligation, procedural requirement, and legal provision contained in this document, further recognizing and agreeing that these terms collectively constitute the sole, complete, authoritative, definitive, and legally binding framework governing the nature, extent, limitations, interpretation, and enforcement of Rayshield’s warranty coverage. The Owner further agrees that no verbal assurance, written note, informal explanation, installer remark, dealer communication, implied interpretation, assumed understanding, or external representation shall, under any circumstances, modify, supersede, contradict, influence, expand, restrict, dilute, override, or otherwise affect the meaning or enforcement of these terms.
⸻
2. Definitions & General Framework
For the purposes of clarity, uniform interpretation, and avoidance of ambiguity, the term “Owner” refers exclusively to the individual or legal entity submitting the warranty registration and assumes all responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the provided data; the term “Dealer” refers strictly to the installation facility, workshop, authorized service provider, or installing entity identified within the registration submission; the term “Rayshield Film” refers exclusively to Rayshield-manufactured Paint Protection Film products and does not include any accessory, coating, third-party product, or aftermarket material; the term “Warranty Period” refers solely to the timeline explicitly assigned to the specific Rayshield product line and commences strictly on the date of installation recorded by the Owner; and the term “Material Defect” refers exclusively to a verified internal manufacturing flaw that is not caused, influenced, or induced by installation technique, environmental conditions, surface quality, external force, chemical contamination, improper maintenance, user negligence, or operational behaviour.
⸻
3. Scope of Warranty Coverage
Rayshield’s warranty coverage applies exclusively to those rare and specific circumstances in which the Rayshield Film demonstrates excessive, premature, or unusual yellowing, splitting, cracking, or adhesive breakdown that can be conclusively and scientifically substantiated—through formal technical inspection conducted by Rayshield personnel, supported by material analysis and documentation—to originate directly and exclusively from an inherent manufacturing defect. Any change, behaviour, failure, or visual outcome influenced by environmental exposure, chemical interaction, mechanical impact, thermal fluctuation, improper usage, insufficient maintenance, or any operational factor not attributable to internal material fault is expressly excluded from coverage.
⸻
4. Natural Behaviour & Expected Film Characteristics
The Owner acknowledges, accepts, and fully understands that Rayshield Paint Protection Film, as a polymer-based protective material installed on exterior vehicle surfaces exposed to varying environmental, mechanical, and thermal conditions, naturally undergoes a wide range of predictable and unavoidable behavioural shifts over time, including but not limited to the gradual development of minor yellowing or discoloration, the appearance of micro-scratches or swirl marks resulting from normal washing motions or airborne particles, subtle changes in surface texture commonly referred to as “orange peel,” progressive reduction in hydrophobic properties due to natural chemical degradation, softening or lifting at the edges of areas featuring extreme curvature or recessed contours, temporary heat imprints caused by extended sun exposure, and other similar cosmetic or aesthetic variations that constitute normal ageing characteristics of the material. The Owner further agrees that all such outcomes occur as part of routine wear and environmental interaction and therefore do not qualify for any form of warranty relief or consideration.
⸻
5. Vehicle Paint Surface Conditions Before Installation
The Owner hereby accepts and acknowledges that warranty coverage shall not, under any circumstance or interpretation, apply if the vehicle surface at the time of installation possessed any form of non-OEM paint application, partial or full repainting, blended paint correction, body filler, putty, weakened or damaged clear coat, oxidation, ceramic coating residue, wax buildup, polishing compound remnants, sanding marks, chemical contaminants, or any visible or hidden imperfection regardless of whether such imperfections were disclosed, undisclosed, detected, undetected, or noticed by the installer. In addition, the Owner must, as a non-negotiable condition of maintaining warranty eligibility, compile, store, and preserve a complete chronological archive of high-resolution, date-stamped and time-stamped photographs clearly documenting the condition of all major vehicle panels—including the hood, bumpers, fenders, doors, mirrors, quarter panels, roof, and any installed section—captured at consistent six-month intervals from the date of installation throughout the entire warranty period. These photographs serve as the primary timeline for evaluating natural material behaviour versus damage arising from improper care, misuse, impact, environmental exposure, or delayed reporting. The absence, incompleteness, inaccuracy, or unavailability of this photographic archive, regardless of cause or reason, shall constitute a direct breach of mandatory documentation requirements and may result in automatic and irreversible voiding of all warranty rights.
⸻
6. Installation Environment, Dealer Procedure & Condition Limitations
Warranty coverage is rendered void if installation occurred in any environment deemed unsuitable by Rayshield standards, including open-air or outdoor settings, areas with dust, humidity, moisture, temperature inconsistency, insufficient lighting, contamination risks, or where preparation surfaces were inadequately cleaned, improperly treated, or handled with non-approved tools, solutions, fluids, blades, or squeegees, or if installation was carried out by unauthorized, uncertified, or improperly trained personnel. Any procedural deviation—regardless of intention or awareness—invalidates coverage.
⸻
7. Vehicle Usage Conditions
Warranty coverage becomes automatically and permanently void if the vehicle is operated in any manner inconsistent with standard private usage, including off-road travel, desert driving, racing, drifting, track events, commercial transportation, taxi or ride-hailing service, delivery or fleet operation, construction-site entry, or exposure to abnormal abrasion, particle impact, or aggressive environmental conditions.
⸻
8. External Damage, Environmental Impact & Chemical Exposure
Damage resulting from stone chips, gravel impacts, sand abrasion, high-pressure washing, automated car wash brushes, bird droppings, tree sap, mineral deposits, acid rain, corrosive chemical exposure, solvents, degreasers, fuel, brake fluid, scratches, dents, vandalism, accidental contact, collision, mechanical force, or any other environmental or physical factor does not qualify for warranty relief, as all such conditions fall outside material defect and therefore invalidate claims.
⸻
9. Documentation Requirements for Claims
The Owner must provide, upon Rayshield’s request and within the timeframe stipulated, all necessary documentation including but not limited to installation invoices, pre-installation records, post-installation documentation, six-month interval photographs, Lot/Run identification numbers, dealer-related evidence, maintenance logs, inspection reports, and any supplementary material deemed relevant to claim evaluation. Missing, incomplete, inconsistent, or unverifiable documentation constitutes immediate grounds for claim rejection.
⸻
10. Claim Evaluation Procedure
All submitted claims undergo a formal, comprehensive evaluation handled exclusively by Rayshield personnel or authorized inspectors, which may require the Owner to present the vehicle at a designated inspection facility at their own cost. If a claim is approved, Rayshield may, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the film strictly and exclusively on the affected panel, offering no monetary reimbursement, repayment of labor fees, compensation for downtime, rental coverage, transportation costs, or any additional financial remedy. Rayshield retains full authority to deny claims based on insufficient evidence, procedural deviation, external influence, missing documentation, or any factor deemed relevant.
⸻
11. Clarifications on the Extent and Nature of Warranty-Related Responsibilities
The Owner acknowledges and agrees that, due to the inherent characteristics of protective films, the diverse conditions under which vehicles may be operated, the broad range of environmental, mechanical, and chemical influences to which vehicles may be exposed, and the numerous variables associated with installation, maintenance, wear, and subsequent servicing, Rayshield’s role in providing warranty support must necessarily be confined to matters that fall strictly and exclusively within the boundaries of a verifiable material defect attributable solely to the internal composition of the film itself, and that any circumstance, outcome, or development arising partially or entirely from factors beyond such internal material characteristics—whether these involve the condition of the underlying paint, the effects of removal processes, the procedures involved in accessing or reinstalling accessories, the subjective interpretation of aesthetic appearance, any temporary or long-term interruption in vehicle usability, market valuation considerations, or any indirect, incidental, secondary, or consequential effects associated with the presence, performance, removal, or replacement of the film—shall not constitute grounds for financial compensation, reimbursement, or expanded obligations on the part of Rayshield.
It is further acknowledged that, in all instances where a warranty claim is assessed and deemed valid, the scope of Rayshield’s participation is limited entirely to the provision of material replacement for the specific section of film identified as affected, without extending into any category of labor reimbursement, accessory handling, alternative transportation, valuation impact, or other associated or peripheral costs, all of which remain outside the domain of what can reasonably and contractually be considered within the intended scope of warranty performance.
⸻
12. Warranty Transferability
Warranty rights may be transferred only if the new owner completes full registration within seven days of acquiring the vehicle and submits all required documentation, with failure to do so resulting in immediate voiding of the warranty.
⸻
13. Maintenance Requirements
The Owner must complete the first post-installation inspection within a period of thirty to sixty days and continue routine examinations every six months, ensuring that all related documentation, invoices, service logs, and photographic evidence are retained; failure to maintain such compliance may result in loss of warranty eligibility.
⸻
14. Final Decision & Rayshield Rights
The Owner acknowledges that Rayshield retains complete, unrestricted, and final authority to interpret, evaluate, approve, deny, suspend, or terminate any warranty claim, and that Rayshield’s decision shall be final, binding, and not subject to appeal, dispute, arbitration, negotiation, or external reinterpretation.
⸻
15. Consent for Promotional Communication & Data Usage
By submitting this registration, the Owner grants Rayshield—and any affiliated partners, agents, or authorized representatives—the perpetual right to store, analyze, process, and utilize personal information, including but not limited to contact details, vehicle details, installation data, and any accompanying submission, for promotional communication, warranty updates, reminders, product information, marketing campaigns, and internal analytics through SMS, email, WhatsApp, automated systems, or other digital platforms, with such consent remaining valid unless revoked in writing.
